When you open a window or the balcony door, the HOMEPILOT smart window/door magnetic contacts detect it. In conjunction with the premium smart home hub, the heating is then switched off automatically while you air out your rooms and is only switched on again once the window is closed. As a result, no precious energy is lost.

Two devices: that's all you need to heat your living space and save energy at the same time. The simplest solution is to use two smart thermostats linked together: a device that measures the room temperature and a radiator thermostat. As both devices are wirelessly connected with HOMEPILOT, it is very easy to equip an existing installation. No need to cut holes in the wall or install cables. The two devices communicate directly with one another: the smart thermostat measures the room temperature and sends the data to the radiator thermostat. This ensures that the heating operates as you wish and for the time necessary to reach your required temperature. You can also program time slots according to your daily habits and thus define what your ideal temperature is, room by room. Rooms that you use less frequently, such as the office, bathroom or bedroom, do not need to be heated all the time. This will significantly reduce your energy bill. This combination heater is even more energy efficient if you integrate it with your HOMEPILOT Smart Home. You can also add door/window magnetic contacts. They will help you to avoid wasting heat while airing out your rooms: if a window, balcony or terrace door is open, they will switch off the heating during this time. This automatically reduces your energy consumption and your bills. And you can use the HOMEPILOT app or your voice assistant to control your heating.
