Thanks to this information, it can control the electric roller blinds via the HOMEPILOT wireless system and adjust the sun protection in a flexible way. In the summer, when the sun is shining, the roller blinds come down and create shade so that the temperature does not rise excessively in the rooms of your house. As the sun continues to move south during the day, the roller blinds on south-facing windows gradually close. The app allows you to keep an eye on everything, even when you're on the move, and to quickly change settings if necessary. And our smart solar sensor does not take a winter break. If the sun's rays are coming through the windows when it is freezing outside, it is best to leave the blinds open to use this heat to warm the rooms.

The environmental sensor records all relevant weather data, such as outside temperature, rain and humidity, wind speed and the position and intensity of the sun. If the weather is bad, the roller blinds will automatically lower when certain threshold values are reached to protect your home from possible damage. In summer, the environmental sensor provides cooling shade and prevents the temperature from rising indoors. Settings and adjustments can be made very easily on your smartphone via the app. And it is possible to make things even smarter and automate other equipment and functions by connecting the environmental sensor to our Smart Home hub! Depending on the temperature and the amount of sunlight, your smart home might adjust the heating, for example, or close all the windows and pull in an awning in the event of a storm. Securing your home can be as simple as that.
